Eugenia Cooney: Real Name, Age, Net Worth, and 2025 Update

When an AI summary falsely reported that Eugenia Cooney died in July 2025, it shook her online community and exposed how little verified information exists about the 30‑year‑old YouTuber. This fact‑check guide separates confirmed biographical facts from speculation, drawing on news reports and public records to give you a grounded picture.

Real Name: Colleen Cooney ·
Born: July 27, 1994 ·
Age: 30 (as of July 2025) ·
Occupation: YouTuber, Twitch streamer, Internet personality ·
Nationality: American

Eight key facts, one pattern: confirmed details are sparse and often rely on low‑certainty crowd‑sourced sources. Here’s what can be pinned down.

What is Eugenia Cooney’s real name?

• Full name: Colleen Cooney (also known as Eugenia Sullivan Cooney). IMDb (crowd‑sourced film database) lists her birth name as Colleen Cooney and states she “changed her first name to Eugenia several months after birth” (IMDb).
• Born: July 27, 1994 in the United States (IMDb; also confirmed by Celebrity Birthdays (fan wiki)).
• Parents: Not publicly identified. No reliable source has named her mother or father.
• Educational background: IMDb claims she attended Connections Academy and graduated in 2013 (IMDb), but this is from a user‑edited profile and has not been independently verified.

The implication: without multiple corroborating sources, even basic biographical details should be treated with caution.

She was born on July 27, 1994, making her 30 years old as of July 2025. This date appears consistently on IMDb, Celebrity Birthdays, and Hindustan Times.

Who is Eugenia Cooney’s dad?

Unknown. No verified name or public figure associated as her father.

What is Eugenia Cooney’s educational background?

IMDb states she attended Connections Academy and graduated in 2013 (IMDb). This information is user‑submitted and has not been corroborated by an official source, so it remains unconfirmed.

The pattern: Cooney’s private life remains largely undocumented, leaving gaps that speculation fills.

What state does Eugenia Cooney live in?

Her exact state of residence is not publicly confirmed. She has previously mentioned living in Connecticut in her videos, but no official record ties her to a specific location. Hindustan Times and Times of India reports about the death hoax note a neighbor’s claim of seeing an ambulance outside her home around 11 pm on July 12, 2025, but neither report names the city or state.

The catch: the absence of a confirmed location makes any real-world event report unverifiable.

How rich is Eugenia Cooney?

Estimates of Eugenia Cooney’s net worth vary dramatically. The City Celeb and Sportskeeda both place it around $2 million. However, other sources — including fan forums and Reddit discussions — suggest a range of $300,000 to $500,000, based on estimated ad revenue and Twitch donations. No verified financial disclosure exists.

• Primary income sources: YouTube ad revenue, Twitch donations, sponsorships.

What this means: net worth figures for creators without financial disclosures are essentially guesses.

What is Eugenia Cooney’s height?

Approximately 5’6″ (167 cm) per The City Celeb, though the source does not provide evidence for this measurement. No verified medical or professional profile confirms her height.

The implication: discussing someone’s body without medical evidence is speculation, not reporting.

• She continues to stream on Twitch and post on YouTube (Hindustan Times).
• In July 2025, a death hoax circulated after she went absent from livestreams for nearly two months. Times of India reported that a false AI summary claimed she died on July 12, 2025; no official confirmation followed.
• Her political views are not publicly stated. There is no evidence she supports Donald Trump or any other politician (Reddit (community discussion)).

Quotes from Key Reports

“The false AI summary claimed Eugenia Cooney died on 2025‑07‑12.”

— Times of India (leading Indian news publisher) report on the AI‑fueled death hoax

“Cooney is a longtime YouTube and TikTok personality with more than 2 million YouTube subscribers.”

— Hindustan Times (Indian English‑language daily) describing her reach

“There was no official confirmation from Eugenia Cooney’s family, management, or platforms that she had died.”

The implication: the same sources driving the conversation are also the only sources available — a circular information ecosystem.

Summary

For any reader trying to separate truth from rumor about Eugenia Cooney, the core problem is the gap between what the internet assumes and what it can prove. Her real name and birth date are solid; everything else — net worth, height, family, health — lives in the gray zone of fan sites and speculation. The July 2025 death hoax was a vivid demonstration of that gap: without a verified baseline, the public has no firewall against false AI narratives. For media outlets and platform companies, the implication is clear: either invest in lightweight verification for high‑profile creators, or watch the next hoax spread faster than the last.
